Training the Next Generation of Comparative Educators
The Hub supports a doctoral network bringing together emerging researchers from European and Asian universities who share a commitment to comparative education.
Program Features
Joint Supervision Each doctoral fellow is supervised by at least two researchers from different Hub institutions, ensuring exposure to multiple scholarly traditions and methodological approaches.
Structured Training Annual doctoral school (alternating between European and Asian sites) providing: – Advanced methods training – Writing workshops – Professional development – Peer feedback sessions
International Mobility Doctoral fellows spend at least one semester at a partner institution, conducting fieldwork or engaging in collaborative research.
Language Support Training in academic English, French, and Chinese, recognizing that multilingual competence is essential for comparative research.
